Avionics & systems
System troubleshooting, avionics integration, modification planning, and engineering documentation for electrical, communication, navigation, and related aircraft systems.
Engineering & strategy for Part 121 operators
Avionics and systems expertise. Reliability insight. Decisions grounded in cost, risk, and ROI. 121EAS helps smaller airlines solve today's challenges and prepare for what's next.
Built around your business
Smaller airlines need practical engineering support that understands the aircraft and the business behind it. 121 Engineering Aviation Solutions partners with Part 121 operators to strengthen technical capability and focus resources where they matter most.
From a recurring systems fault to a long-range fleet program, we connect engineering, reliability data, and financial analysis to support your operating objectives and competitive strengths.

System troubleshooting, avionics integration, modification planning, and engineering documentation for electrical, communication, navigation, and related aircraft systems.
Responsive avionics and systems troubleshooting, technical coordination, and engineering support during aircraft-on-ground events, helping operators evaluate practical paths toward return to service.
Mine maintenance data for recurring discrepancies, component failure trends, time between removals, and emerging problems that deserve attention.
Compare lifecycle costs, painting options, modification investments, and repair alternatives. Align engineering budgets with risk, future needs, and business plans.
Evaluate applicable compliance paths and support engineering substantiation and AMOC development where appropriate, with approval requirements built into the plan.
Represent your interests in technical negotiations, supply chain meetings, vendor proposal reviews, and long-term modification program coordination.
Represent your technical interests throughout avionics and systems certification projects, from defining the approval path to preparing the supporting documentation.
Aviation 3D printing services
PolyFab3D combines engineering-minded design with additive manufacturing to help aviation teams explore concepts, check fit, and develop practical tools before committing to production.
Aircraft-installed parts require a project-specific review of materials, performance, and applicable approval requirements. A printed prototype does not establish airworthiness approval.

Aviation fabrication
A worn trim piece, a difficult-to-source cover, or a new installation concept begins with a practical question: what does the part need to do?
Working with 121EAS, we help define the application, assess whether additive manufacturing is suitable, and develop a path from concept and fit-check to the applicable engineering and approval requirements.
Discuss an interior project →Examples describe project opportunities, not a catalog of approved aircraft parts. Installed-part production and sale require an applicable regulatory basis.
Certification & approval planning
For aircraft-installed applications, we scope engineering and certification support around the specific article, installation, and operator. We help identify the evidence and coordination needed; approval authority remains with the FAA or appropriately authorized persons and organizations.
Establish aircraft effectivity, intended function, installation location, loading, interfaces, and consequences of failure.
Define material, print orientation, geometry, manufacturing controls, and inspection needs appropriate to the application.
Plan applicable strength, environmental, and flammability substantiation, including heat release and smoke testing where required.
Identify the design and production pathway, installation documentation, traceability, and continued-airworthiness needs.
No. Suitability depends on the particular part and applicable aircraft certification basis, operating rules, design data, production basis, and installation approval. Prototype fit does not establish approval.
No. The finished article and controlled manufacturing process must meet the applicable requirements. Print parameters and geometry can affect fire performance; a feedstock data sheet alone does not establish finished-part compliance.
The pathway is project-specific. PMA addresses design and production approval for replacement or modification articles; an STC addresses an approved change to type design. Other lawful routes may apply in defined circumstances. Design approval, production authorization, and installation eligibility must each be addressed.
